Based on several reviews, I sized up but my usual shoe size was a better fit. The fit is a bit smaller than what you’d anticipate for a US size. It’s likely due to European shoe size conversion. For example, my US size 7 is usually a Euro 37.5 but this shoe’s US size 7 is actually a Euro 37 and the US size 8 is a Euro 38. Depending on your preferred fit (since this is a clog slipper), size accordingly.Otherwise, this is a typical shaped cork footbed with a wool upper and synthetic textured sole. The footbed can easily be removed. The pattern is very lovely. It’s expensive for a pair of house slippers, but it is well made, sturdy and likely to last several years. I’m glad I made the purchase and happier with my usual shoe size.
