This soccer ball sized glass terrarium is well packaged and seems well made. Aside from a couple of micro-bubbles from the blowing process, the glass is crystal clear. The lamp / fan / moisture unit feels solid and well made. I have not been able to locate where to buy the hanging kit so I can’t speak to how confident I’d be hanging the weight of the terrarium and it’s contents from the alternate power cable port in the top. The triple thumb screws work well to mount the lamp and the reservoir for the humidity fan is easy to fill with the supplied bottle. (Note the unit is not a fogger, it has a fan that pulls air over a water reservoir and exhausts the resultant humid air into the bowl).The light has lots of settings but I have defaulted to the preset that works best for moss. The main complaint I have (and reason for 4, no 5 stars) is the lid supplied, to be used if you want to grow plants in a semi-enclosed environment. It’s a thin, frosted piece of plastic that is oversized for the opening of the bowl. It has a fixed sized hole which needs to be aligned with where the exit for the fan/moisture vent is in the lamp unit. I’m not sure if it’s meant to diffuse the light, but I would have preferred a clear lid that didn’t have a large overhang all round. Aesthetically the unit it looks a lot nicer without the lid, but then it won’t retain as much humidity so would not be good for moss or tropical plants. It would have been nice to have adjustable vents, though the fan (which comes on 5 mins every hour) does a good job of keeping the glass clear from condensation. I may design and cut a clear acrylic lid that fits more snugly, though still with the pass-through hole for the fan.Note: The instructions for setting the timer are NOT very clear. For reference, if you want to set the On time for one of the two auto-timed light period settings, you have to:- Turn it on at the time you want it to come on (e.g. do this at 9am to have it come on at 9am),- Cycle to the light period setting you want.- Once on that setting, press and hold the button for 5 seconds till it gives the beep signal.With that done, it will come on again the same time every day for the preset length of time then turn off.In my picture it’s sitting on a roll of black tape - a temporary base I used to raise it a little on my desk. It would be nice to have an optional stand, though I’ll probably just either cut a section of black plastic drain pipe or 3D print a similar diameter cylinder.All in all, this is a great terrarium and one that is available here on amazon at a very good price considering the alternatives like the much larger Biorb Air 60 (4x the price) or the Baiosphere (not available outside of Europe). So far the moss and ferns have been thriving. I will update this review a few months on. Hopefully they will start selling the hanging kit on amazon too, as I’d like to test that out. I would imagine that with the aquarium add on it would make a neat home for shrimp or a few neons in a planted Aquascape.Como terrarium es perfecto .me gusta la luz y lo fácil de montarThis beauty came with so many useful accessories. Micro planting kit and squeeze bottle for watering, funnel and more stuff for suspending the tire system from your ceiling. thought it was over priced but once I opened it I had no regrets. Once I got this and unpacked it I changed my mind on how I would chalenge it’s limits. Ended up turning it I to a blueberry shrimp, self contained system. Without the aquarium add ons. Which btw I couldn’t figure out how to buy. So far so good. Lots of good light features in the remote. Haven’t tried the app yet.I thought the humidity lid was cheap and aesthetically poor. It could have been clear and made to fit the top.The electronic had a lot of potential but mine failed due to water leakage from the fillport to the light. That should not be a defect in a system designed to hold water and humidify. The mfr never responded to my request to return just the electronic so I didn't have to unplant my mossesThe glass itself is great.Love this product I used it for my sundews and Venus fly traps and they are thriving I had a few misunderstanding about the item and what came with it so I talked to the company about my issues and they were so helpful and sent me an added bonus gift for my misunderstanding so I am a very happy customer my only issue is I don't understand how to set the timer and I emailed the company about it but they really couldn't explain it to me where I can understand but that may just be me lol
