Let me just say, as a newbie reseller, investing in a mannequin form made a huge difference in sales! (for me anyway...) Displaying my dresses was hell of a lot easier (and way nicer lol). I love this one because the black casing is removeable. My dark clothes look great on the white and vice versa. Easy to assemble and doesn't take up much space. BEST INVESTMENT EVER! Worth it!I love how easy it was to build the item. Once it was done, I began to put my crochet items on the mannequin and it stayed on with no slippage. Also, the mannequin is super light! I haven't used a bobby/clothes pin to keep fabric in the mannequin yet. However, I will give an update as soon as I buy a clothing pin.This form is light enough to handle and move around easily and look great showing off my latest crochet shawl. This make a very pretty display.I had to hem a prom dress with six layers of different materials. I put the dress on form. Put it on my table. Lowered the form to her height plus 2 inches. Cut it off. Hemmed it. Easiest ever. Of course glitter will forever be on my floor.Did anyone take it out of the box and it smells like a litter box?I love the mannequin just smells really bad.All over good one !UPDATE FROM 1 STAR TO 3:I received the replacement, which also had some moldy parts but not the same ones. Between the 2, I was able to keep a full mannequin. I kept the "body" with the least smell and have left it to air out.---------------I was slightly hesitant when I ordered due to other reviews regarding moldy parts and unstable legs but figured I would give this a try. When I first opened the box and pulled everything out, I was very pleased with it! Everything appeared to be perfect! Until I got to the very last piece that is the long stem. As I was removing the foam packing material, I noticed the green mold spots and instantly smelled the mildew stench! The part was so wet that the foam was actually sticking to the wood! I still do not understand how this was even possibly unless the part was soaking wet when it was wrapped in the foam. Everything else in the box was dry with no issues. I have allergies and am VERY sensitive to smells and had no indication before I started removing the foam from the wood piece that there was mold in the box. The box itself was in perfect condition and completely dry. The rest of the item was fine.I have already requested a replacement item from Amazon. I am planning to hold the current one until the new one arrives in case there are other parts in the new one that are moldy and I can at least get a complete item. I did try to wipe the wood down with bleach water but have not been able to get all of the mold removed in the creases.
