So I've previously had 2 Braun epilators just like this one (but with a rose gold cap instead of the red cap), and they both had the same problem where they would go through the battery after 1 or 2 uses, and the problem was noticeable right from the first use. I expected the same problem to be prevalent in this one, but I bought it anyway because this still happened to be one of the most painless epilators I've used.To my surprise, it doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. I'm still on my first battery after two weeks (8-10 uses), and it's still going very strong. I've also noticed that they had changed the material of the battery cap to a much stronger plastic, so it doesn't break that easily. I honestly don't know if I just got lucky, but I'd say give it a shot if you want a painless epilator. Cause as of right now, there aren't many good ones at this price point.but I use the Epilator and it works great, I had a old Braun on that was bigger, and it quit, so I replaced it with this one.It’s okay! Not as powerful as I thought but gets most of the job done.This is a great kit, I use it mostly to clean my face every night and I am happy with the results, I like it as an epilator as well, great productP.s. update my review:After I used this item a few months it stopped working,no matter the battery was recently changed, I email the seller and returned it. At the beginning this item performed well but in a while it stopped, I would not recommend this product.Great product. This is the second one she has purchased. Pulls stray hairs from face. Works somewhat like tweezers. Does hurt at first, but you get use to and know what to expect. Have recommended it a couple of friends and they now have the product.This product works, I just wished had rechargeable battery instead.It works so amazingly well. Took care of the black heads I had and makes my skin so soft. Not irritating on my skin what so ever.the negative reviews pertaining to battery life is correct. sent back to Braun to be 'investigated' and was told this was not normal. waiting to see what they offer. aside from that, yes it's painful and works on most course hair (except for odd crazy under chin hair that appears out of nowhere). not sure if it pulls all or almost shaves some, but it eventually leaves a smooth area.I bought the epilator for that specific purpose and I’m giving it a 5 star rating on that alone. I haven’t used the cleansing brushes yet, so that may change my rating later (but unlikely).I could spend half an hour trying to pluck out a hair I could feel under my chin but couldn’t see in the mirror. Extremely frustrating and irritating! Now, with this Braun epilator, that same hair would be gone in seconds!!I couldn’t be happier!!Disappoited with the quaity of the product. I hardly used it, but it already stopped rotating into one side.Battery doesn’t lastExcellent for eye brow shaping.iwont have to get them threaded any more.Satisfied.
