First off the max height is 430mm or 16.93 inches. Minimum height is 300mm or 11.81 inches.There are a few things I like about these jack stands. Yes, they are attractive. But more importantly they are very well built. The welds are excellent along every seam. Not sloppy at all. They are uniform and straight with no gaps. Nice bead too. The feet each have large wide plates on them so that they won't sink into the asphalt or punch a hole through a wooden base like a cookie cutter. A lot of Jack stands, if not most do this with their sharp angle iron feet. When I place the stand on the ground it feels stable and have near zero wobble. The legs look pretty level. Nice job. With the stand fully extended to max Height, the arm doesn't have excess lost motion. It does wiggle a little but its not as bad as most I've seen. And of course this jack stand double locks with the included safety slide pin. It prevents the handle from going up so there's no accidental drop if someone hits that handle. That slide pin also engages the teeth on the arm too so it's double protection. The finish is a black paint not a powder coat. It looks good and is built well. I recommend it.
