I have a super heavy wool and down coat that tore and I got this as a replacement while my other is being repaired. I must have a good hour searching for something that I thought looked nice and would be high quality and this really was the only option I could find!60% wool is great, considering most products of similar price have less than 25% wool. It keeps you very warm and blocks the wind to your chest well, but because of the poly filling it isn't as warm as my down coat. That being said, that's not entirely a bad thing. I was able to comfortably wear this at 20 degrees to take my dog for a short walk, but it's not so heavy that I am burning up if it's in the mid 40's.Cole Haan is designed to look and fit a little more on the formal side. So as someone with really broad shoulders and oddly muscular forearms it can be a little snug in those areas, but I am used to this. It looks really nice on me (in my opinion). The inside is a nicely stitched silky material that feels upscale and luxurious when you slip it on.My only small complaint is that while I find it snug around the forearm and shoulder, the wrist area is loose on me. On those extra chilly days the cold seeps right up your arms because of this. This isn't really major and if it's too cold I just wear gloves that cover the area this is loose around.
