The PROGRESS LIGHTING BRUSHED NICKEL BATHROOM LIGHTING FIXTURE is a two lamp design. Installation was with the lights in the down position but optionally can be reversed to point up. The system I received did not have the diffusers. Switching from frosted to clear incandescent light bulbs provided two different looks for choice. We decided the clear bulbs shining through the glass globes gave off the best light for us.The lamp arrived ready for installation. There is no assembly required except placing the glass globe onto the lamp. Wires have the ends stripped and are sufficient length that no modification is required. This replaced an existing lamp fixture so the installation was quick as this fit the existing electrical wall outlet. The Manufacturer provided a special plastic tool to tighten the electrical socket. The socket is difficult to reach by hand through the glass globe and the tool allows easy tightening.An instruction pamphlet comes with the lamp assembly. There is text, wiring diagram along with final assembly instructions. The diagram shows the use of the special plastic tightening tool and the place to be used.The absence of the diffuser is not an issue for use. The look and light pattern on the wall and ceiling with the clean bulbs as reflected through the glass globe looks good in our estimation. The pattern through the diffuser is different and gives a different cool look to a bathroom in our opinion. We thought frosted bulbs look were dull.We are pleased with the final results and don’t miss the diffuser. Therefore there will be no deductions for it being missing.
