It is perfect for just the "essentials" to carry in your purse. I do not wear a whole lot of makeup and I decided that I wanted to start carrying along some essentials with me. I put face powder, blush, concealer, a little brush, mascara, and a couple lip glosses.I bought this because I have a red purse and a couple black purses. It is perfect size for my red purse which is like a little tote. It is a tight squeeze for my black Coach purses (2-handled/middle zipper/2 compartments). I am not a flowery/foo-foo gal, so this was perfect for me. The only thing is that it is quite "tall". I wish it were 1 - 1.5" less in the vertical department.This Cosmetic bag has MANY options in color, etc. I highly recommend!I never spent this much on a make-up case before, but it does go nicely with my matching purse! The purse is a great size and I love the colors black/scarlet and gray)! I was dumping all my makeup in the matching purse (it is too nice of a purse) to do that to! If you like being colored cordiated, you can use this bag in solid red, gray or black purses also. I have also put my wallet in this makeup purse and used it as a little purse (when running errands). The leather is of great quality and if you are a Buckeye, you will get a lot of use out of this little bag (with the scarlet and gray colors). Go Bucks!Very nice, medium sized case. I don't use it for makeup, but for medicine, toe nail clippers, and lip balm, etc. It is much nicer than the picture can display, and it is nicely padded as well.
