I have eight of these lights, I purchased four at a time. I had a problem with one light and made contact with them, provided the info they requested and had a replacement light within a week. These are good, affordable lights with great warranty and customer service if you need it.I tried out various grow lights over the past several years and I have found these lights to be the best value. I use them all year round, whether starting seedlings in late winter to get a head-start on spring planting, growing lettuces and spinach indoors during the hot part of summer when they would die outdoors, and to help speed up the turnover period between crops using succession planting.I am using these lights for starting plants from seed that will be transplanted when large enough. I start my own seeds because I like to grow heirloom varieties and others not available as store bought plants. My son turned me on to these lights. His success with starting his garden plants last spring impressed me enough that I wanted to use the same basic set up myself. The picture is my first dozen on a rack that has 72" x 24" shelves. I have just bought another rack and purchased another dozen lights. I will buy more as my set up grows.[Simply to establish why you might want to read this review.] I am a Texas Certified Master Gardener and editor of our newsletter. I have a research background and track many garden projects involving seed saving, growing all my flowers and vegetables from seed. When I began transitioning from fluorescent grow lights, I bought Monios red/blue LEDs for two shelves of my indoor growing stand, and found that color spectrum seems to work better on food crops like tomatoes and broccoli. [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BPWD1LY/]I recommend Monios because I have asked them numerous technical questions on how to get the most from LEDs, and their replies have always been professional and on-point. As a result, they were my first choice for buying full-spectrum LEDs. I had started fall flower crops under fluorescents, but within two days of replacing them, I could see enhanced seedling growth under the Monios full-spectrum LEDs.The 4-fixture kit is excellent. Not only is it less costly than buying 4 individual fixtures, but the included hardware provides options on how to hang them or combine in series, depending on your growing setup. When converting the final shelf today, it was obvious that one Monios fixture at 7" above seedlings was brighter than a double fluorescent fixture at 2".After discussing with Monios and trials, it takes only 2 Monios LEDs to replace a bank of 3 double-tube fluorescents. This means that depending on your growing cycles and cost of electricity, Monios fixtures will pay for themselves in two years or less via energy savings. They're much lighter and smaller than fluorescents, making it easier to manage seedling and start flats.Monios provides good products and good after-purchase support. Keep them on your short list when buying LED grow lights. The lights arrived very quickly (free 2nd day air). I couldn't believe the QUALITY OF THE LIGHTS for the PRICE. I love the ADJUSTABLE HANGING SYSTEM. Had a problem with 1 of the light switch. Contacted the company & within days it was replaced. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Liked the lights so much I ordered another set. I never write reviews but just had to for this product.I ordered 5 set/boxes total of these Monios-L T5 Grow Light (4 ft) in early March 2021 to early April 2021. I was excited to finally found what I was hoping a good investment of about $750.00. But not even 2 months yet I already lost 1 set/box (total of 4 fixtures) because I ended up replacing the LED bulbs that exploded & smokey. Please note that even it’s only one fixture plugged in directly into a surge protector or wall outlet, it’s still exploded when it turned on. It is very alarming!~Then there are 2 defective power cords~the On/Off switch will NOT turn on. The other power cord it stays on all the time and cannot be turned off unless you unplug it.~Another 2 power cords won’t fit into a fixture socket. The more you try, the more it get stripped & become unusable. These grow light set up would have been a perfect type IF the issues I mentioned was not a factor. I am hoping that the manufacturer would consider to do more “quality check” for these product for safety reasons for future buyers. And hopefully they will try to reach out to customers like myself who spent close to $750.00 to make it right when they read this review. I will update my review when that happens.UPDATE:I contacted the seller (Monios-L) directly and was VERY pleased for the prompt respond from Anne. She resolved the issue in a VERY timely manner and sent replacement right away. And instead of the 2 star review I gave before, the seller deserved 5 star this time because of GREAT customer service!!!I am satisfied with these grow lamps. There was one that was defective and the company sent me a replacement in good time and free of charge. The seedlings are doing well under them.Attempted assembly of the reflector to the fixture, but can't complete it on one of the four lights I received. The fixture is bent just enough to prevent the reflector from sliding into place. The shipping boxes are undamaged so the fixture must have been handled roughly in the factory prior to shipment.Update - Monios product support contacted me through Amazon and sent me a replacement fixture, so that corrected the bent fixture. Haven't had a chance to see how my plants do under the lights, a little too early to start my garden plants.A colour temperature of 2900K at best will simulate early morning or late afternoon light. This type of light may help with flowering as the plant may interpret this light as an autumn light, but will not help much is you are planting seedlings or in a vegetative stage. 4500k to 6000k would be ideal. The lights, hardware, packaging, etc are first class but to claim these as general purpose grow lamps is misleading. I regret my purchase. All in all a great product. After ordering a set of 4 and trying them out for approximately a week in our new, 4-season greenhouse, all of our vegetable plants grew substantially (lettuce, carrots, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and radishes)! Ordered an additional set of 4 to complete the greenhouse. Had concerns with two fixtures in the second set of 4, however my concerns were promptly addressed by Monios to my satisfaction. Fast shipping, and very respectful and friendly service. I definitely recommend. A "heads up" for newbies; while working around any grow lights, protective eye glasses are strongly recommended, particularly ones that protect from the specific uv rays produced by your selected grow lights. These can be found quite reasonably priced on Amazon. When I first got the product in the mail it seemed very cheaply made, some of the end caps were broke and after I assembled the side reflectors the lights need to stay flat or else they slide out.The leds aint very bright like more expensive brands but are easy on the eyes.I have yet to grow with these lights so I have no opinion on if the plants will like them yet, but so far for the quality and price of the product it sure beats spending $600-$1000 to cover the same area.UPDATE-COMPANY IS AMAZING TO DEAL WITH!! Under warranty for 1 year and all I had to do was take photos of the issues and send to them and they replaced the broken!! ABSOLUTELY WILL BUY AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.I purchased two sets of these light packages and now the on/off switch will only turn on half of the lights. I also purchased two single lights. The lights themselves are SPECTACULAR this is the second brand of grow lights and this are truly incredible my plants love them and we can live in the space without needing sunglasses. But if the switch is going to be a problem I need to get replacements and can’t seem to track down the manufacturer to get the warranty replacement?? Can anyone help?Good lights out of the box. Arrived late by 5 days on a two day guaranteed delivery but these are shipped from the seller so Amazon cannot be blamed. Also came by Canada post and wasn't delivered for two days after tracking showed it being in my city.....also not Amazon's or the sellers fault. Arrived with damaged box but fortunately only cosmetic damage on the aluminum upper housing of a couple lights. Not noticeable once mounted. For my uses mounted two units per 4 foot shelf they work fine. So I get two 4 foot shelves that have an even coverage of a measured @300 ppfd @ 10" or 20 DLI@ 18 hrs. Perfect for my pepper and tomato seedlings and more than enough for anything else except perhaps cannabis .....not sure.Other photos show the colour temp difference between my other lights in the tent. These lights are more full spectrum than the H.O. cool white fluorescents I use on the upper shelf of the same unit, but warmer colour temp than the higher quality panel type LED units I use on my seedling table. Results shall be seen and reported as they come. One thing to note in comparison is that the LED panels are way better if you have room to set up a table or have a larger area. My panels at 25" away from plants at 50% output are equal to these led's at 8". Long story short, if you want to set up something on shelves like the common wire shelving unit I use these on, you can't go wrong with these lights. Mounting and set up is easy and light output is perfect for all your seedlings until they go outside. colour temperature is less pleasing to the eye than cool white but the plants will tell you what they like and this colour temp is more neutral than the cool white that we humans are usually drawn to. The great ending to the story is that when I asked for a discount due to shipping damages, Amazon gave me a full refund and suggested I either just keep or donate the lights. Very good.
