We purchased 3 of these to go outside above 3 garage doors. Replaced the box store brand that have the motion and photocell sensors to these with a timed switch from Honeywell. Great performance so far. These are still made in China but quality is a level better than the box store brands. They look great. We've tried with traditional incandescent bulbs in clear and switched to the Edison style (yellow ish light) which are actually led but have that vintage look. Both look good depending on what you're going for. They're fully assembled and only need installation out of the box. That is straight forward and typical. Toss out those cheap orange wire nuts and get some better ones from Ideal.
