Westinghouse 6369900 Brushed Nickel 3-Light Indoor Island Pulley Pendant Light Fixture - Perfect for Kitchen Islands, Dining Rooms & Farmhouse Decor

Installed this fixture above my kitchen island on our sloped cathedral ceiling. Built, sanded and painted a wooden wedge to adjust for slope of the ceiling, then hollowed out a channel for the electrical connections. Used mount plate to attach the wedge, then screwed mounting plate for the light fixture into the wedge. (Used zip-tie technique someone else mentioned to help bear the weight of the heavy light fixture while making connections)This light fixture looks much higher end than the price - an excellent value. The biggest challenge was coming up with a way to adapt it to the sloped ceiling. You'll see that some people installed it directly on a slope that was less steep than mine and it looked pretty good - but the pulleys were a bit askew because of it. With the wedge adaptor they hang completely straight, as intended.Installed CRLight "antique style" LED filament bulbs (Edison lights) which provide extremely bright task lighting. One of the pictures shows the other two light fixtures we purchased from this suite of Westinghouse products so you can see how they coordinate in the same physical space. We may opt to adjust the height of the island light- this can be done by moving the heavy ball weight up or down on the pulleys - for now we have it at maximum height.We've been happy with all three light Westinghouse fixtures. All 3 are in brushed nickel finish. The other two installed without issue on the sloped ceiling. (We also like that the pulleys and ball weight look like a Hidden Mickey lol)Would not hesitate to recommend. Product exceeded expectations and looks very much at home in our modern farmhouse kitchen.
