Minka Lavery 6734-1-613 Reversible Bath Vanity Light Fixture - 4-Light Wall Sconce, 400W Max, Polished Nickel Finish - Perfect for Bathroom, Powder Room & Dressing Area Lighting

Very, very happy with these lights and replaced with these for the old ones I had up prior.The light is well made and the shade is VERY heavy, so do not install this in a old work box - the boxes that just float in the drywall with the little wings for support. The light installation is very easy, but this gets 4/5 stars for these reasons:1) I ordered 11 of these - each one came with DIFFERENT weird cheap screws to attach the light to the light box. They weren't threaded correctly (ever so slightly too small) and didn't grab the thread of the light box. Had to go the Home Depot and get machine 8/32 3/4" long screws. Some screws they send were too long, a different color and of poor quality. Thanks, China.2) It has 4 screws to attach the fixture to the frame that attaches to the light box (2 on top 2 on bottom). The two on bottom are viewable. I found that some screws came with lots of the paint chipped off or while simply handling them the paint came off. So you could see bright silver through the oil rubbed bronze color. I put the ugly screws on top and the ones that still looked good on the bottom.So, other than that I really like the sleek look of the lights.Also, you and adjust from inside the direction of the shade holder so you can point it downward if you wish, and the shad is held on with a porcelain ring... or you can just flip the entire light upside down.The shade is ribbed and the light it emits is on the cool side - more white light than soft or yellow.Update on purchase: When we received the 2 sets the packaging on both were horrible. One of the glass shades was broken. It was surprising that was the only one. To set up the return was easy. We had a difficult time getting the piece off of the electrical part that holds the glass shade in place. We went ahead and put the 1 fixture up. The glass globe screwed on fairly easily on one side but went half way up on the other side and would not budge up or down. WE TRIED EVERYTHING, even went on-line for advise. NOTHING WORKED. My husband even took it down from the wall--which was not an easy feat with one glass shade not properly secured yet. Could not get it off at all--poor design.Ordered another to replace the one with the broken shade. It arrived today, fully intact, whew! However, when my husband went to put it up there were 2 screws in the top and none in the bottom and none in the shipping box! Luckily I had not returned the broken fixture yet and we took off that one (since it was already broken) so we could get lights up.THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, however, I would never order from this mfg. again. I think it is very poor quality and quality control!I am remodeling my master bathroom and I have not installed this yet. But the minute I took it out of the box I fell in love. It’s a great quality and the glass shades are unique and cute! I’m building my entire bathroom remodel around my vanity and this looks great with it. It also looks like it was made to match my Fossett kit. It’s a true brushed oil bronze and not the black over copper finish (that many manufactures say is brushed oil bronze but it’s not). I do not think that you will be disappointed if you buy this product. Again I have not installed it so if it doesn’t work when it gets put up I will cry…My husband installed two of these fixtures over our bathroom sinks. He's handy with this kind of stuff and didn't have any difficulty installing. They look great! Very happy with this purchase.We installed these fixtures in both of the bathrooms upstairs. We wanted something with a "heavy" look, and these are just perfect. The glass literally is heavy, and it visually shows. The fixtures came well packaged with nothing missing. 'Shopped for a long time looking for just the right fixtures, and we're so pleased with this one.I ordered two of these to replace old sconces over the fireplace in our bedroom. They are beautiful. I had used some Minka Lavery fixtures in our old house that we sold last year, and loved them. I was confident that ordering more would be an excellent purchase. These sconces are heavy, but that gives them a very solid feel and look. They were easy to install as well. This Minka Lavery series has a very elegant look and they add a great ambiance to our room. I recommend them highly. The vendor delivered our order promptly and the packaging provided good protection for the sconces during shipping.Excellent product for a great value! we just remodeled our bathroom and I was looking for something simple and stylish to go with my decor in the vanity area. This fit the bill perfect! The description says polished nickel but it has a beautiful shine to it and matches perfect with my chrome fixtures and vessel sink. The lighting looks very well made and has an expensive look to it and compliments our contemporary decor.The light from the bulb is bright and is exactly what we were looking for. We got the matching 4 lights set for the 'her' side. Great product, well made and carefully packaged. Extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it.
