05 GMC 1500 Sierra 2WD, CrewcabI just purchased the truck with 92k miles and it had what appeared to be the factory shocks (blue) on all four corners. I don't know how the truck felt from the factory, but the ride was terrible over rough patches of roadway and train tracks when I bought it. The truck also had a very "tippy" feel going into and coming out of turns.The bilstein 4600s (replaced front and rear) greatly improved the ride over rough roadways and made cornering much more stable. It still drives like a truck (over-sprung in rear, under in front), but the ride is much improved.
