This product has many flaws:1) It says it fits a standard club mixer, but it doesn't have proper room for cables since the tube that supports the stands sits too close to the mixer. So I had to replace XLR cables by TRS because in my Xone 92 mixer they are more to the left and are not so close to the tube. In short, had to spend $40 more on new cables because of this design flaw.2) The assembly instructions tell you to put the tube on the stand, but that is only possible if you remove one part which by the way is not listed in the manual and has no clear function, bizarre.3) There are some adhesive stickers that they do not explain as well how/where to use it and I finally figured it was to level the surface of the stands due to the adjustment they have. Could've put that in the manual, right geniuses? There are also some velcro tapes which i have no clue what they are for and they are not in the manual either.4) Plastic covers that are supposed to hide screws don't stay in place due to poor manufacturing. Some are too big or too small so they don't fit properly and keep falling off, leaving the product with an unfinished look.5) Finally the biggest reason I don't recommend this product is because the angle in which the stand arms go backwards is not long enough to ensure that whatever you have on the stand will not sit right on top of your mixer/decks. So you end up having to have them way too high or too inclined so you have a clear view on the gear below which in turn makes them not ergonomic.6) The surface of one of the stands is not completely even so the stand is not level. The same goes for one of the arms is not leveled in a noticiable way.Really poor design, poor instructions and poor manufacturing. This is a super heavy duty DJ/gear stand. It's pretty heavy so I wouldn't consider it particularly portable, but if you're traveling with some heavy duty gear or using this for an on-site installation it's perfect. In my own case, I'm using this as part of a home studio "music station" built around a standing height work table. This Odyssey stand is perfect for elevating a mixer and a laptop above the other gear I've got arrayed on the table.Unlike the previous reviewer, my purchase arrived well packed and with ample instructions. It was very easy to put together, and the pieces are of good quality. The arms and plates are rock solid -- no wobble at all, and the various joints are easily tightened to allow more or less ease of movement if you want to angle the plates. Before buying I recommend you check the price history, as it's varied widely over time.I am the production manager for a night club and we purchased this for our DJ booth. It arrived with an incorrect part as well as a few bent ones. One of the brackets where the CDJ sits is cut incorrectly and does not fit the CDJ as advertised. I contacted customer support and, and their request, sent them several pictures documenting the issue, to which they always requested more, while never actually responding to my questions as to whether the issue would be fixed or to what end I was taking all of these pictures, which were virtually all the same. They assured me it was for "quality control" but kept asking for minutely different pictures without actually addressing the issue. I figured it was a lost cause and gave up.This might be a nice piece of gear, but the one I received wasn't and the customer support was unhelpful to say the least.
