This is a big light, that puts out a ton of light to help your plants to grow. I have been using this light for almost two months with excellent success. So far, I have only used this in the vegetative stage, but I will update after flowering.1) This is light is big and heavy. In the past I have used several of the small Phlizon lights, but my 3' X4' tent required at least four of them. This light literally barely fits (see pick) and I probably should have ordered the 4500, but I get complete light coverage with no gaps or bright spots.2) This light has no fan but manages to stay cool. The aluminum heat dissipators stay cool to the touch, which really surprised me, despite being in a small enclosed space. I do run a small fan, but it is probably not necessary.3) Output spectrum seems complete and certainly does a great job vegetatively.4) I have been running these at 60% power. My Kasa outlet tells me it is drawing 548 watts. Intensity of the light can be adjusted but it is an adjustment from 50% to 100% as opposed to 0-100%. Not an issue for most uses.5) The light is heavy at around 40lbs. Fortunately, the light has heavy duty eye hook to hang it, and the aluminum poles in my tent are strong enough to hold it. Phlizon includes nice hanging equipment, but it will take two people to hang it.6) This is a professional quality light that is well built and solid.7) Price wise, I would consider this an excellent value. Outside of Phlizon, I have used a number of LED light for saltwater reef aquarium, including Aqua Illuminations. Those lights are typically about 5X more expensive but much more tunable in terms of output and wavelengths of light emitted. However, that level of control is certainly not necessary for this application.I will add that I have used smaller Phlizon lights in the past. About half of those lights typically go bad after about 1-3 years of use. However, Phlizon has replaced them, but with a large shipping charge. So I would give their customer service an A. This one has a three year warranty, is much better quality build, and I have had no problems, but it still might be worth getting the Amazon protection.Overall, I would highly recommend this light.Price is great. The light has been working like a charm.This is the second light I have purchased from this company on Amazon. I have been perfectly happy with both purchases. This light has been working wonders on our plants, I noticed the difference right away when moving up to this light from the smaller model. The features of the light are great, super bright, adjustable, and love that it folds in the middle if needed. The only slight complaint I have with all of these lights is the hanging mechanisms are not great, wish it came with hardware to hang it a bit straighter this is just a small complaint. Overall, super happy with the purchase, I did a ton of research before buying and have been very pleased with the results.I have an eight by nine area with 7 ft ceilings and in this area I put two of the-6500, and 2-4000. This canopies the whole room with a couple feet at each outside along wall. Used to run 2-1000 and 2-600 HID with a 900$ electric bills (summer). Bills down to 600$ and room is running a lot less stressful. Much less radiant heat near the ceiling and it allows a taller grow. HIDs usually produced about 3 lb. Now with the LEDs I getting 6 lb. Same plants so I trust the results are very accurate. Plants had a lot more room because canopy light is evenly distributed above them and they really seem to like the light spectrum. I do not know if this company is using Samsung spectrum diodes as I have seen no information so I do not know how long they will last, but for now they are working.This light is a good price, and it is working well for me. It feels really solidly built and it stays surprisingly cool. I am excited to see how it handles my tomatoes and peppers.Wow can't get over how bright this is and only at 40% right now, let you know more when I open her up all the way. Best value for your buck and I looked at a lot of lights before buying this one. It's hard to find bar lights over 400 watts for a 3x3 and I wanted something to fill it out with light and I got just that! It comes with wire hanging parts, just use 4 ratchet hangers and toss those out, way more safe in my book.I'd buy Phlizon again for sure!Finally got the chance to revise the grow area and hang this light. First off the end plate where the power switch is located is badly bent. Absolutely no package damage and the area that is damaged was encased in soft foam meaning this occurred at the manufacturer. It was boxed and shipped anyway. I live in the middle of nowhere in Alaska and returning anything has been a nightmare. Switch functions. Just be sure to totally unbox these lights on delivery because an intact box means nothing.Hanging it is a snap. Power cord is secured plug with threaded collar retainer but no stress relief on the cord itself. Hardware for hanging is sufficiently strong. Dimmer is variable and not click settings. Seems durable enough.Edit add: overlook the reviews saying this light can’t produce flower. It can and it does. I’ve run 3 flower crops under it and it produces!The money I paid for this light was unbelievable,for what it's capable of doing,it's down right truly top of the line and for the price you would be crazy to pass this bye, I was running 5 purple full spectrum top of the line lights ,the amount of heat and energy consumption was outrageous,so I bought this one light ,and see for yourself,and 2000 watts less energy draw, this light has done me huge favorsFantastic light covers my 4x4 perfect very bright light and it’s only on half power my peppers love itHighly recommend this light it's perfect for a 4x4 tent for growing tomatoes ? ?Light is solid.
