Let me start by saying this rig three adjectives. Big, heavy, and extremely stable. I've assisted a friend of mine who owned the Avenger A5034 and that roller stand is rock solid as well. The Avenger is the same price as this Kupo but it's load limit is 44 lbs vs this Kupo's 88 lb load limit. This one eats up more floor space at 60 inches vs the 40 inches on the Avenger. The height limit is also higher at 14' vs. 11'. The Avenger is more transportable. I took this Kupo for a church wedding and my back hates me. 55 lbs folks. I'm a strapping 42 year old and I sympathize anyone lifting this week to week. It's built to stay in the studio but easily accommodates those big Fresnel Hollywood/Broadway lights. If you like over doing it, you'll get more with this Kupo than the Avenger. But in all reality, they both can easily hold a heavy 1000 watt strobe along with the biggest light modifier you can buy. It's that good and that capable. Just don't think you can throw it in the back of a sedan without dinging it.
