very bright so far so goodThought they were great and worth every penny !!! Believe I've purchased 3o of them now and getting ready to buy another 10 !!!very pleased, really lit up my workshopBought these for my shop. Nice and bright, but they are a bit flimsy. Did the job though.Love these lights and my seedlings love them, although one came packaged without all of the chain and hook parts. Overall though, I think I would buy again.Bought these lights for my 24X40 shop with 10" ceilings. I currently have the commercial electric leds from Home Depot in there now. Installed those at a cost of $62.00/ea. I have 20 of them as I do alot of custom builds and paint work and there is always a shadow no matter what. The CE's started to fail within 6 months of install (they're now 2 years old and were supposed to last 50,000 hrs). Needless to say, not a happy camper. So, long story short, looked around and decided on these. They are a no frills, get the job done, led light. Put 10 of them in a day ago, and compared to the CE's that are still working, Much whiter light, and don't generate the heat like the CE does. I did 10 in one bay and am so satisfied, I'm dong the rest of the shop in them, so, 20 more. As always, only time will tell of their life span, but for $14.80 per light after tax, I can accept a failure alot easier. Yes, they're flimsy and weigh nothing, but they do the job and that's what counts in my opinion. Shipping was fast and every light in the box worked.First off... My usage: I ordered these to replace 4' fluorescent shop lights in my basement.The pros: Yes they work. They have a rocker switch to turn the light on/off as opposed to a pull string. They are fairly simple to install. They are bright.The cons: My biggest fault with these are that they are not 4' (48") as advertised. They are 47.25". The screw holes are 46" apart and will not span across 16" OC joists without using the chain. The chain provided is cheap (one broke on me), but it will work to hold the lights as they are lightweight. One light did not come with any hardware, and the installation instructions were about useless.In the end, the lights are up, and the basement is well lit.We put 10 of these lights in a 30x40 garage. We did not want the ones that hang down on chains, these are ceiling or wall mount only. They are very sleek looking and are bright enough to light the whole garage nicely. I also wanted the cover over the light instead of seeing the bulbs and I am very glad we chose these. My husband wasn't sure at first because they only have one bulb in each while a lot of the other choices had two bulbs each, but he was happy after we plugged one in to test it.
