I purchased this last year, but only got around to using it this week. Putting it together was fairly easy. I have a BabyLock Ellisimo but this is supposed to be compatible, and I can tell you it was.What I did not appreciate until I used it yesterday, was that it saves you a lot of time. I am accustomed to lining up my spools of thread on my ironing board or sewing table, like ducks in a row. I then thread my machine with each spool one by one as the color changes are needed. If I need to repeat a color, I then take the color off the machine and replace it in the thread line up. I had also bought a free-standing thread storage rack and numbered it with a sharpie for the thread color numbers 1-20 to help with this. But with this thread stand,you can put up to 10 spools on the stand and have them "threading-ready". You do not necessarily have to have your embroidery threads in the order needed for sewing because you just cut the thread when a color is done and thread whichever spool on the stand is next. My first color was repeated twice more in the design and I left it there and just moved back to it when I needed to. I embroidered a design that was supposed to take 55 minutes to stitch out. This would normally take me about an hour and a half total. With the thread stand, it took me very close to the stitch out time total to make my design. This thread stand will have me doing more embroidery!
