Did not dislike anythingSmaller then the one I had of course it was much olderVery sturdy but over priced. Not tall enough for my liking but Wheels and leveling legs solved the height problem.It’s cheaply made, but does the job. The stand went together easy enough. Directions on most these things are terrible anyways, but it was pretty self explanatory where everything goes. The stand is sturdy enough for what it’s holding, but the top isn’t level once assembled. It makes the saw sit on an angle. I may cut 1/8” off of the one side of the legs to level out. I’d be upset if I paid any more for it.I understand the complaints, particularly with installation, but having read them, I built the and is it exactly what I expected - a sturdy, solid platform.Installation Hint (my two cents). Build the stand, but do not tighten the bolts. Attach the final four bolts that secure the bandsaw, loosely, so you can be then manipulate them into the four bandsaw base holes. Once affixed, work your from the bottom up tightening the hex bolts.I like the feel of the cast iron bits, they feel very solid. i recommend a stand for this, the one i bought makes it feel like a complete setup. I have only used mine a few times, but i enjoy it so far.This is the best 10 inch band saw on the market. After watching you tube comparisons and reviews for several months I decided this is the saw for me. My philosophy is buy the best and save money in the long run by only spending money once for tools. This saw performs as advertised and believe me the blade that comes with it is super sharp and cuts well. The initial setup is easy and requires very little adjustment. The fit and trim is perfect. This is a rugged and stable machine. I put mine on wheels to move it around easy as my shop is very small and I move all my woodworking machines out of the shop to do my work. I am very proud to own this fine machine and I guarantee you will too.I cannot imagine how anyone could complain about the assembly of this band saw stand. Sheesh ... can't anyone get through a day without whining about something? I was talking with some Woodcraft employees about product reviews and we all agreed that we're getting to the point where the majority of reviews are so friggin' negative. I call it the dumbing down of our country. This stand could have been put together easily from maybe a ten year old and up.I consider it a good buy ...Well made stand that's easy to assemble, but you need to follow the directions or the holes won't line up correctly. Hint: don't tighten the bolts all the way until it's fully assembled and you can make sure of the stand being level. Although the pieces fit together well, there is enough play so that you need to adjust before the final tightening.PARFAIT
