This stand is great. I researched amazon and the online dj community to find out what stands were top of the line. I was hesitant to pay this much at a stand, but it is truly worth it. I could have bought a cheaper stand, but it wouldn't have been stable or strong, and it probably wouldn't be collapsible. If you are a laptop DJ, you should definitely get this. LStandM is the name, and M is for Mobile. It folds up real nice and easily while still being very strong and not wobbly and they give you a simple bag/case to put it in for transportation with the Odyssey logo and name on the front.I'm not one to take chances with reliability when it comes to enforcing the security of my macbook pro while DJing, so the money is well spent. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been satisfied with a cheap and crappy stand anyways.The stand has adjustable height as well as adjustable length for hte bottom part, so you can get the distance from you just right regardless of the size of the table. It has padding on the top where the edge of the laptop rests so it touch the metal. It feels heavy with quality, which is always a good sign.You can adjust the top part to be flat or have it facing down. It's always good to have it facing down a little bit so the laptop falls against the pads, enforcing gravity and giving it less chance of falling in any way. I like to put my Akai LPD8 in front of my laptop on the stand, so I have it facing down a little bit more even for that because the top square area of the stand is not long enough to fit the entire 15" macbook pro and akai lpd8. It works perfectly though as long as you get some tilt. It's nice to have the LPD8 right there in front of you and your laptop elevated.Being able to change the height is great because you can put your mixer right underneath the stand and have enough room to see all the knobs and buttons as well as get to them.Truly a quality stand, I would definitely recommend it. Spend the extra money and get a stand that you're not going to eventually buy anyways after being unsatisfied.
