The "Heavy Duty" Triple Cross Stand arrive yesterday. Took about 30 minutes to set up, no help needed. As someone else said, no instructions, but it is very straight forward, I don't think any are needed. The bag is comes with to carry is cheap. I am sure it will tear over time.Heavy Duty? Well.... that is stretching it a bit. This is solid construction, typical of most non professional grade studio equipment you see advertised on Craigslist. The Stands themselves are good quality in my opinion, as far as this type of stand goes. The cross bars are average. They will hold muslins and paper, at the 12' width. The load bearing happens near the stand so they will easily do the job. For 8' muslins or paper, especially, I would take out one section of tube. This is a very nice convenience! The fact that is has 3 bars means you can use up to 3 backdrops! I like that, although without a motor, I can only imagine rolling up the backdrop you just used! I suppose you can flip them back, but after you use 2, the challenge is on! :DI would buy this again, I like it. For the money, it is a good deal. I fully expect it to last for years with the type of studio work I do.Overall Rating: 5- because it is pretty much what I expected and a little more and it was properly advertised.- also, it will meet my needs- and I thought it was good value for the moneyDurability: 4- here, I would say between 3 and 4. Time will tell. It is solid, the stands are good, the cross bars are a little flimsy- over all it is solid, just don't hang a heavy paper roll that is 6' in the middle without removing a section- used properly, it is durableEasy to Assemble: 5- I had no issue with this. Look for the pipe with the square hole, it goes in the stand ... bad-bing, you are set upLight Weight: 4- It is not light weight. There is some "meat" to this. 2 stands, 4 sections of pipe for each of the 3 cross bars to give you 12' each!- it is however, portable.- weather the carry case is up to the task after repeated use is yet to be determined. My guess.... tatters in under 2 years of use. Could be wrong.I recommend the product!SHOUT OUT: Canadian Studio 5/5 stars- hassle free, shipped promptly- No issues- I recommend them as well based on this experience.
