We used this Irish tradition at a wedding reception. Very cute and larger than I guessed. I believe it went to Ireland on the honeymoon:)This bell is beautiful, and the poem is really kind. The box was shipped in an envelope so all of the corners of the keepsake box were smashed rending it basically useless for its purpose. I would have paid a little more for it if thats what it would take to have it in excellent condition. This was going to be part of a wedding shower gift.I gave this to my friend as a wedding gift last year. It comes in a very thin box, but packaged well in a bigger one and bubble wrap. It comes with a story of the bell's origin and "directions" so to speak. I took it out to inspect before wrapping it as a wedding gift and its not one of those cheap or crappy ones, it definitely meets expectations. Beautifully made and designed, would definitely recommend and/or buy again!This is a lovely gift for any newlywed. The sentiment is sweet and the bell is beautifully crafted. It will certainly draw many ooohs and ahhhs. I gave this as a gift to my niece and her husband, with some cash too, since this gift is so affordable. I also gave it as a gift to a co-worker for her wedding, and being Irish, she loved it.i have a bell collection. I would Not recommend this as a wedding gift. This is silver-plated zinc, but feels/looks like silver painted plastic. Not happy with the quality.Exactly as described. Possibly plated?I think it’s very pretty, but the handle came off immediately with first ring! ? I had to JB weld it.This is so beautiful. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is made really well. The bride and groom love it and will cherish it for years to come. It was the perfect gift for them. The seller did a good job packaging it so it wouldn't break and it arrived when promised.
