I agree with all 3 reviews preceding mine; these "hampers" are hard to score because it depends on what you have in mind. They're handy, mullti-purpose, breathable, and flimsy. They fold really flat (3/16") just by squeezing opposite vertical corners together; no need to follow the convoluted instructions unless you want to carry them in your purse. They "give" a little, so you can squeeze them into spaces a bit smaller than the stated dimensions. The handles are handy; the pockets look useful too, though I haven't thought of anything to put in them. If you like surprises, you’ll get one: The color(s) truly are unpredictable and may not even be among those pictured.As all-purpose hampers for loads including heavy jeans, zippers, rugs, etc., I'd expect a short lifetime, but for lighter uses they're fine, and an inexpensive substitute for 3+ compartment hampers. I keep one in my bedroom closet for items I plan to give to charity (lined with a plastic bag for easy removal); another in the main floor laundry room for stray socks that land in the living room, dish cloths, and the like (unlined, for air circulation). Other possibilities abound, I’m sure.
