For most users, two lights is sufficient. For ultra wide monitors or dual monitor set ups, we recommend three or four lights. For laptops and small monitors, we recommend one light. What can I do to improve my appearance on video calls? Light sources should be in front. Avoid having light behind you (windows, lamps, ceiling lights). Your webcam will automatically focus the rear light source and create shadows on your face. Check your webcam settings for automatic adjustments. What else can I do to improve my appearance on video calls? Before setting up our lights, open a video call and take screenshots while changing one room lighting variable at a time (windows, lamps, ceiling lights). Once you've found the best ambient light, add our video conference lights to look your best! Can I make the lights brighter than the highest setting? Try using USB-C instead of USB-A. Some USB-A ports are limited by power output or power-saving settings. Using a wall adapter with USB-C (not included) will provide the highest, most consistent power. Turn off "power saving mode" if using a laptop. Can I make the lights less bright than the lowest setting? Try using USB-A instead of USB-C. Adjust your desk, chair, or monitor height so the light is above eye level. Check to make sure you aren't being washed out by a different light source such as a rear window.
Present your best with a HumanCentric video conference light, quad light kit. Improve your computer light for video conferencing, Zoom calls, streaming video, and online class. The quad light kit is four connected video lights with one power cable. Important note Due to power delivery limitations of USB-A, we do not recommend powering more than two lights with a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
Webcam lighting for video conferencing provides a more professional appearance and streaming presence Get the ideal video call light to match your skin tone and environment. Add a Zoom light to improve engagement over video meetings.
Easy set up and removal The monitor or laptop light sits on top of your screen with a webcam style stand. It is meant for stationary use and does not use unreliable suction cups or damaging adhesive just for a computer video light. Position your camera first then add the monitor lights.
Preinstalled diffuser provides a soft light panel for a more natural glow and appearance. Look your best on a video call with a proper video conference lighting kit. Adjustable brightness and temperature. Includes cable clips and Velcro straps.
Important notes The light does not contain a battery. Power adapter not included. Must be plugged into a USB-C or USB-A port to function. USB-C to USB-A adapter included. You may need a USB wall adapter (not included) for full brightness if your USB-A port’s power delivery is low. The maximum space between connected lights is 9 inches.
First of all -- installation did not go as I had hoped. I expected the lights would clamp to the monitor. They did not. While the lights are plastic, the base is a heavy alloy, I presume to serve as a counterweight, and does not mount to the monitor. The lights merely rest on the monitor which doesn't make them very versatile or stable. I expected to put one light on each side and two on the top. The two up top would work (although not securely) but there was no mounting the lights to the side of the monitor. I had a roll of gorilla 2-sided tape which I used to attach the lights to the sides. I also used the tape to secure the lights on top of the monitor as I have a standing, moving desk. I wish I did not have to bond the lights to the monitor but it works and the monitor will be replaced in the next year or two.The lights don't seem very bright but only have a few brightness levels to reduce them. They have to be plugged in "daisy-chain" style so you can't just turn one of them off; you need to re-wire the whole series somehow or use another diffuser to filter the amount of light coming out of the lenses if they are too bright.
